Regardless of how seasoned a marketer you are, you can always benefit from the wisdom of those who have walked similar professional routes. A good way to learn from seasoned professionals is to check out some of the books they’ve written about different facets of marketing.

I want you to get the most impact in the quickest time possible so I will keep this list short.

Business and Marketing Books

My first book recommendation comes in a series written by Russel Brunson.

The “Secrets” Trilogy

  • DotCom Secrets
  • Expert Secrets
  • Traffic Secrets

I want to say that these books took me a few times to read. Depending on where you are in your business journey some of the tactics and principles he speaks may not make sense but hear me out…

When I moved through the ranks and made more progress with my business I thought why not go back to these. Let me tell you so much began to resonate and that was due to time and growing as a person and business owner.

I highly recommend his “Secrets” series. If applied you can become an expert in your industry.

No B.S Books – Dan Kennedy

Direct response marketing makes me happy. Finding books that touch deep on this topic the way Dan explains it is, well amazing!

It’s like this, do you want to be famous or rich? With the direct response marketing approach can do both.

There’s so more to learn not just by reading his books but seeing how he is marketing to you at the same time.

It fascinates me to see the $12 book he distributes is then repackage into an event where he then charges thousands of dollar for people to attend. (He even says you can learn all of this from his books.)

Wouldn’t you like to know how he does that? You can if you read his books.

I would start off with No B.S. Direct Marketing: For Non-direct Marketing Businesses Third Edition. When you are done with that you might just be hooked to read the rest.

“I’m goading you into applying a powerful force for creating success from what you’re going to learn… and that force, my friends, is pigheaded discipline and determination.

The Ultimate Sales Machine – Chet Holmes

Add this book to your list of must-reads: The Ultimate Sales Machine, by Chet Holmes.

If you haven’t read it, move it to the top of your list.

If you have read it and haven’t yet implemented every single strategy inside its covers, read it now. Again.

These are books that you can read over and over again and still learn from. If you are like me and prefer to listen to books then you can get them from audible as well.
