How to Change Current Theme on Shopify

Changing Theme Styles

Found a new shop design that you like? Changing the look and feel of your Shopify Store is a quick and straight forward process.

From Desktop

• From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
• Find the theme that you want to edit, and then click Customize.
• Click Theme settings > Theme style.
• Click a theme style. If your theme includes more than one theme style, then they are listed in a column.
• Click Change style.
• Click Save.

From iPhone

• From the Shopify app, tap Store.
• In the Sales channels section, tap Online Store.
• Tap Manage themes.
• Find the theme that you want to edit, and then tap Customize.
• Tap Edit.
• Click Theme settings > Theme style.
• Click a theme style. If your theme includes more than one theme style, then they are listed in a column.
• Click Change style.
• Click Save.

From Android

• From the Shopify app, tap Store.
• In the Sales channels section, tap Online Store.
• Tap Manage themes.
• Find the theme that you want to edit, and then tap Customize.
• Tap Edit.
• Click Theme settings > Theme style.
• Click a theme style. If your theme includes more than one theme style, then they are listed in a column.
• Click Change style.
• Click Save.

Before making changes to your theme be sure to have a backup plan.
If you don’t have a back I strongly suggest you do so before moving forward.

There are a few things to consider before you make this bold move.
The theme is a visual representation of your business, and if you do too modifications you could ruin the customer experience and that can have a major impact on the performance of your store

When in doubt keep it simple and clean but still keep on brand.
