Brand your business of yourself with a Vanity URL. What is a vanity url, well just think of it as ais a customizable link which is short, easy to remember and can be shared without remembering all that goobligah. (pronounced goo-blee-glah yeah, I just made that up)

By default yourFacebook profile url would look something sickly like

http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=xxxxxxxxxx

This can be very difficult to remember and it sucks if you are trying to share it with someone. Heck try putting that on a business card.
It would look like pure ca-ca and we don’t like that.

After you get all fancy and choose the name for your facebook profile the url it will look like

http://www.facebook.com/<username>

It’s short, simple, and easy and by golly I like it!

You can also do this for “Like” pages (aka Fan Page), however you must have at least 25 people joined before that option
is available.

P.S Once you select your vanity name for your profile or Like page you wont be able to EVER change it. So choose wisely my friend.
