It only takes a few minutes here and there to get extra traffic to your webpage but are you doing it?

- Comment and interact in forums and sites that relate to yours
When commenting on blog sites make sure you enter your name, email address, and a link to your webpage. What happens here is your name will now be a link that goes back to your page and if your comment is worthy people will check your site to get more info from you and this also builds more back links to your page which is better for search engine results.For forums, you will want to complete your user profile and create a signature bio with your link in there. The signature bio is very important and you can be creative in here by offering something for free to get them to click. Example of a signature bio- James Delong, Super Sexy Dude with tons of free marketing tips which can be found at his facebook fan page. (as you can see here I added a link to my facebook fan page. This should get me more fans especially if they like what I wrote in the forum)
- Email signature
Change your email signature. This is quite overlooked but can generate you new business. Most people just put in a salutation and their name.
I strongly suggest you add your web address and contact # (if applicable). Also keep your signature to no more than 5 lines.

Did you know Hotmail went viral and has like a Bajillion members because in every email that someone sent from their system that on the bottom was a link that told the recipient that if they wanted a FREE email account like this one to click here.

This is my favorite because I am constantly tweeting or updating my Facebook status. Here like before, just make sure you complete your profile out with a link to the site you want to drive traffic to. As for immediate traffic, it’s okay to send out an update from time to time with a link to your site but just don’t over do it.
These are changes you can make now that won’t affect the daily tasks you are doing but it will add major benefits for you in the long run.
