Want to get noticed? Well then you need to be everywhere and you need to be social!

The fastest and easiest way to build a following is to be where your customers are.  As you have your favorite sites so does your potential clients.  You may like and use Facebook but some of your clients may choose to use Myspace, Twitter, or any of the other many social media sites out there.

You need to be there as well.  I know what you are thinking, man there is just too many sites out there and I don’t have enough time to go to each one and make posts and be social.   In a previous post “Enough with the Excuses” I talked about not having enough time, good thing for tools and services such as ping.fm

I can’t begin to tell you how much using a service such as this will benefit you.  At this time you may not understand how backlinks or High Page Rank sites work in conjunction with your site(s) but take my word for it, you’ll thank me later.

Oh yeah, not to mention that dreaded time thing that no one ever seems to have.

Once setup you’ll appreciate the ease of use of this application and you may even find a site or two that you may like more than the one you are using now.

So what is Ping.fm? It’s a service that will allow you to link up dozens of other social media sites so that you only have to send one update and it goes out to all of them at once.  Pretty neat huh? Now do you see how much time can be save by using such a service?

What will take the longest time when using this service is setting up all the accounts that are applicable for ping.fm.  This is a free service to use and one that you should definitely add to your repertoire.

One thing I will mention is that I would recommend that you create a new email account, preferably a Google gmail account and use that when you are signing up to the services within ping.  (This part is up to you, I don’t like email clutter and separating this and my personal email account is a must)
