Articles Get Results

Writing articles is probably one of the most best kept secrets of the top marketers.  Why? Well, for starters it drives visitors to your page and it also makes you an authority figure on that specific topic.

Those are very important key elements for anyone that wants to sustain a business online.  Without traffic you get no sales and without any real recognition your sales won’t be as good.

Tips for article marketing:

  • Brand yourself as an authoritative figure
  • Keep articles between 300-600 words
  • Be you and don’t worry about using fancy words or write differently than you speak
  • Write straight from the heart. Usually the first thing you write down will do.
  • Make yourself available if one of your readers should try to get a hold of you
  • Use the resource box for contact information and backlinks to your webpage

These are just a few things you should implement into your writing habits.  The more you write the better you get and this will help you build a following of readers which will bring a good amount of traffic to your site.

I recommend the use of an article submitter program for the submission process to the small article directories and for the larger and more reputable sites I strongly suggest you manually submit to them.

What you may not know about these directory sites is that people are allowed to use your content for their sites with the exception that they are not allowed to modify any portion of it especially the key part which is the resource box.  (The resource box is like the business card portion of you article where you can put down your contact info and web page address)

If you write good articles you will see that people whom have web pages with topics similar to yours will copy that piece and upload it to there site unmodified. This will provide you additional backlinks to your site and will help your page in the search engine ranking.

The most important tip I can give you in your article writing is to never advertise with in it.
Use the resource box for that.  Don’t ask me why, jut trust me on this one.
